Tax Incentives for Energy Efficiency
ARRA contains a number of tax incentive programs to encourage businesses to expand commercial grade renewable energy production and make significant investments in energy efficiency. In some cases, these tax rebates are available as direct grants, as of June 2009. To learn more, please click here.
Small Business Assistance Programs
The Small Business Administration (SBA) is authorized to oversee a number of loan assistance and grant programs for small business through ARRA. An overview of these programs along with contact information for the Vermont SBA office is available here.
Employee Training Assistance
ARRA does not specifically provide funding for employer-based training programs. However, the Vermont Department of Economic Development's Vermont Training Program (VTP) provides funding to offset the cost of some employee training. To learn more about the VTP, please click here:

ARRA offers funds which offer additional opportunities for Vermont businesses.
